touched my love, touched me (Analysis)

I would like to clarify at the beginning that this poem has not been written on the basis of my personal experience.
The title "touched my love, touched me" portrays the message that when somebody's body is misbehaved with, apart from the victims (bless them, God), those who truly love them also feel it. They might never go through what the victims felt, but they feel every ounce of hurt and sadness, if they truly love them.
This is what the poem is about.

A daughter doesn't realise that 'that day' was any different than the others. She chose working over going for a walk with her mother, and it was a normal decision.
However, when her mother returns, angry but seemingly unhurt, she regrets her decision and feels a lot of pain. Somebody hit her mother hard on her back while she was walking, in hopes of spanking her butt.
She was so hurt by his actions. She regretted her decision, blamed herself.
That's it
